NSW Energy and Environment Minister Matt Kean has linked this years bushfire season to climate change. Mr Kean told Sky News extreme weather events are as a result of climate change and we need to be taking steps to mitigate the impacts of climate change. We can do that in a responsible way that doesnt hurt our economy but grows our economy and that is what we intend to do, he said on Wednesday.
