The Chief of the United Nations has praised NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern for leading the fight against climate change. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres met with the Prime Minister as part of a three day trip to New Zealand. His visit comes just days after the government unveiled its Zero Carbon Act, which aims to reduce all greenhouse gasses, with the exclusion of biogenic methane, to net zero by 2050.
